About us

Ann and Ellen met during their MEd class at Florida International University. Our fearless leader, Clem Pennington, suggested that they present at the Florida Art Ed Conference - and, so, they did!

That started a friendship that turned into countless presentations at FAEA, NAEA, and NBPTS conventions.
Eventually, Ann and Ellen had the opportunity to teach together at Monarch High School, in Coconut Creek, FL.

They made an amazing team of creativity and purpose - creating such world-wide projects such as Pinwheels for Peace and Haiti Houses, authoring an art resource book, "Sculptural Bookmaking", and mentoring countless art educators.

in 2013, both Ann and Ellen retired. Ann moved to California with her husband to be near their daughters, and Ellen is now living in North Carolina with her husband and mother.

Life is good!
